Consultation and Conceptualization
Participation needs a sensible selection and combination of methods.
The informal participation process – forms of participation that are not required or regulated by law – must be based on currently accepted quality standards and oriented towards the topics, contexts, goals, resources, and participating groups at hand. There are important steps and elements that are necessary for a high-quality participatory process. We provide the necessary knowledge, experience, and creativity needed to design such a process. In doing so, we combine and implement different participatory methods and tailor participatory processes to the particular field and target group.
Implementation and Moderation
Participation needs professional implementation and unbiased moderation
Professional implementation and unbiased moderation of participative methods are essential in building trust among both the involved participants and those who initiate the process. Our years of experience working with these different methods in praxis uniquely qualify us for this job. We enable the participating parties to work in a constructive atmosphere in order to pursue information-based solutions for the common good, especially in the context of challenging group dynamics and demanding processes.
Supervision and Evaluation
Participation needs to be documented and evaluated.
In today’s world, participation is in high demand. It is therefore even more important that participatory processes be carried out to commonly recognized quality standards. Neutral supervision and evaluation support the participatory process by ensuring flexible reactions to changing requirements and a continuous evaluation and documentation of the quality of the process. We accompany and evaluate the participation process from start to finish in order to raise the quality of both the process and the results. This service contributes to a greater learning experience and encourages a culture of participation.
Training and Coaching
Participation needs knowledge, practice, and support.
The realities of participatory processes are not always presented in the literature. For this reason, experience in the field is just as important as theoretical knowledge. We offer one to two day seminars that teach participatory methods with illustrative examples, thus bringing together theory and praxis. These seminars are organized around the client’s needs and interests and can be held on location. Clients can choose to learn one or multiple participatory methods and are presented with tools to help plan and implement a successful participatory process.
