Citizens' Juries and Citizens' Reports

Developing specific solutions and managing conflict

Overview

Citizens' Juries and Citizens' Reports You would like to work on a topic or issue with a group of people representative of the issue and do so in a detailed and binding fashion? In this case a Citizens' Jury offers a method that will meet your requirements. It allows you to manage existing conflict and develop specific solutions. A Citizens' Jury consists of a group of max. 25 randomly selected persons who are released from their job to act as consultants and representatives of a particular matter. They are assisted by process coaches and experts while working out solutions to the given problems in the course of four days. The experts provide participants with information on the relevant matter, ensuring that everybody starts from the same level of knowledge. Participants are remunerated for the time spent, depending on the particular case. The results of the Citizens' Jury, which we summarize in a Citizens’ Report, relate to specific situations and are strongly backed up by the Citizens' Jury’s participants and the domains they represent. One of the Citizens' Jury’s specialities is the broad range of topics that can be worked on. It is suitable for finding solutions to very specific, isolated problems as well as for developing large-scale concepts for the future.
